About Me

“You know who’s going to give you everything you want? Yourself.”

I do love a selfie

Welcome to my Blog! My name is Olivia and I am 32, living in Melbourne, Australia.

If you have found yourself here then you are maybe wanting to know a little about me, what you should know is we are probably a lot a like. I love to do all the things you put on your Tinder Bio – eat out, drink wine, travel etc. What I also love to do though is have dance parties in my kitchen alone, play Animal Crossing on my Switch, eat lemons like they’re apples and more than anything – I LOVE to read and write.

I have been married and divorced (Life is full of these marvellous lessons!) lived overseas in the UK for about two years where I picked up a strange English accent along with my South Australian one.

When I am not creating content for my blog I am working as a qualified Dental Nurse and completing a Bachelors degree in Journalism to keep myself busy.

I decided to start my blog after a lot of nights in my bed googling for life answers, struggling to find any that were recent or for my demographic when I decided if I wanted content, I might have to create it!

I want to give you something to read when you’re feeling a bit bored, some insight into questions us ladies have, I cant offer much in the fashion or beauty sector as I watch Kylie Jenner for my make up skills. But I can give you plenty of fun, interesting things to read on your way to enjoying your thirties!

I am a firm believer in having the choice to choose your life even if life has taken you on paths you didn’t expect.

“Bottom line is, even if you see ’em coming, you’re not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does. So what are we, helpless? Puppets? No. The big moments are gonna come. You can’t help that. It’s what you do afterwards that counts. That’s when you find out who you are.”
